Official Feature Film Section

Jeanne Balibar (Paris, 1968). Film and theatre actress, singer and director. She has won awards in the Official Section at San Sebastián, BAFICI, the Berlinale and Cannes. She has worked with Pedro Costa, Arnaud Desplechin, Olivier Assayas, Jacques Rivette and Jean-Claude Biette, among others. She has just made her directing debut with Par exemple, Electre.

Isa Campo (Oviedo, 1975). Screenwriter for Los pasos dobles (Golden Shell at San Sebastián 2011) and Los condenados (Fipresci Award at San Sebastián 2009). She has co-directed video installation projects for several cultural institutions and teaches film directing at Pompeu Fabra University.

David Epiney (Geneva, 1976). Award-winning film director and producer. Selected for festivals including BAFICI and Oberhäusen. He set up Alina Film together with Eugenia Mumenthaler and produced Abrir puertas y ventanas (Milagros Mumenthaler) which won the Golden Leopard at Locarno 2011. He was selected for Producers on the Move at Cannes 2012.

Official Short Film Section

Marla Jacarilla (Alcoy, 1980). Visual artist, writer and critic. Editor of Contrapicado magazine, she also writes for specialist publications such as El rayo verde, apuntes cinematográficos. She has taken part in festivals such as FOC Cinema and Granada University Film Festival. 

Jorge Rivero (Mieres, 1975). Since 1999 he has organised Cortomieres. Festival de Cortometrajes de Mieres. His work as a director, screenwriter and producer includes Nenyure, nominated for a Goya, and La presa, winner of Best Documentary Short Film at Con-Can Movie Festival in Tokyo and at Vam Fest (Vercelli Art Movie Festival) in Italy.

Gloria Vilches (Valencia, 1978). Film historian and doctor in audiovisual communication. Since 2009 she has coordinated the Xcèntric film programme at the Barcelona Centre for Contemporary Culture. She writes for several specialist magazines and has carried out research into contemporary found-footage audiovisual work in Spain.
