Synopsis

A daughter returns to Iceland to film her mother, who is ill and may not have much time left. The mother is reluctant to participate, but the daughter persists. A film about life and art, understandings and misunderstandings, and the relationship between two artists: the subject and the filmmaker.

Bio/Filmo

Yrsa Roca Fannberg studied fine art at the Chelsea College of Art in London and Creative Documentary at Universitat Pompeu Fabra / iDEC in Barcelona. She uses many different media in her work, including photography, drawings, watercolours, text, knitting and cross-stitch. Salóme is her first film.
