Family Workshop: Let’s make a movie with
A Home In Progress Film
Fluidity and Flickering
This workshop gives children and grownups a hands-on insight into the creative process of making an experimental animated film. Fluidity and flickering, loops and lines, abstract and figurative images, rhythm and beats will be the ingredients we will be combining in this engaging workshop to create a group piece of animation. Without forgetting the sound to go with it!
A Home In Progress Film is an educational project that produces group animation films following the narrative style of experimental film and visual music. The members of A Home In Progress Film have worked in Barcelona cultural centres such as the CCCB, MACBA and MNAC, and the films created during their workshops have been screened at festivals worldwide, including MOV Festival Internacional de Cinema Universitário in Pernambuco, Brazil, and the Festival de Cine Itinerante Totò in Valencia. One of the group’s pieces won the Visual Music Award in Gelnhausen, Germany.
Aimed at children and grownups interested in playing, experimenting, singing, drawing… Animation lovers eager to give it their all, whether they draw every day of the week or one day a year.
The workshop will be given by Rafa Castañer, Laura Ginès and Pepon Meneses.
