L'Alternativa Parallel / Boris Lehman / Babel. Lettre à mes amis restés en Belgique (parties 1 et 2)
Synopsis
An intimate diary and self-portrait, this film is also, in the director’s own words, "my life turned into the screenplay for a film that has at the same time become my life". Boris Lehman once again wanders through his hometown and meets up with friends as he plans a trip to sound out ideas for a possible film following in the footsteps of Antonin Artaud in the land of the Tarahumara people in Mexico. He then sets off on the trip and comes back. He keeps wandering. Almost certainly because, as he himself says, he films while waiting to film. The result is a film that is in the process of becoming a film about a real-life character living life like a film.
