En esas tierras (In Those Lands)

These lands belong to those who lived there in the past, those who live there now and those who will live there in the future. They capture the essence of the relationship between man and nature, violence and culture.

Nayra Sanz Fuentes (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1979) graduated in Spanish studies from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and later did a Master’s Degree in Film Direction in New York. Her films include Tan antiguo como el mundo (2012), Un día cualquiera (2014) and Sub Terrae (2016), screened at l'Alternativa.
