Figuras (Figures)
Eugenio Canevari
Synopsis
Stella is an Argentinian with no ID papers. Since she fell ill with motor neuron disease, her partner, Paco, has been helping her move, eat and communicate. Her daughter, Valeria, keeps her company when she’s free but struggles to see her mother going downhill and hits the town at night. While they wait for a council house, they try to get by a day at a time on the little they have. A striking portrait of illness, ageing and family ties.
