La Mer du milieu

Synopsis

A film about the Mediterranean of today, as seen through the correspondence between two friends, writer Nathalie Quintane and director Jean-Marc Chapoulie, as they navigate the northern and southern Mediterranean coasts, stationary at their computer screens. The images in the film are gathered from strategically placed webcams facing the Mediterranean seashores. A journey on a sea of words where images strike at the heart of the incoherent world we live in.
