Synopsis
Chilo and Omar seem to be the last men left alive on the earth. They live on an isolated beach and try to fish to survive from one day to the next. Their highly sensual friendship borders on a romantic relationship. Their close ties and conversations paint a portrait of the human condition.
Bio/Filmo
Nuria Ibáñez (Madrid, 1974) studied screenwriting at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City. Her films include La cuerda floja (2009) and El cuarto desnudo (2014), which premiered at festivals such as IDFA, Visions du Réel, Cinéma du Réel and BAFICI, among others. This year she won the True Vision Award at True/False Film Festival for her work in nonfiction filmmaking.
