Synopsis
An Argentinian from New York and a Spaniard living in Berlin hook up by chance in Barcelona. What seems like a one-night encounter between two strangers becomes an epic relationship spanning decades, depicted in a nonlinear narrative in which time and space refuse to play by the rules. Lucio Castro’s inventive and enigmatic debut feature is consistently surprising, turning a love story into a cosmic voyage with no clear beginning or end.
Bio/Filmo
Lucio Castro (Buenos Aires, 1975) studied at the Centro de Experimentación Cinematográfica in Buenos Aires. In 2000 he moved to New York, where he studied at the Parsons School of Design and began work as a fashion designer. His short film Asuntos de confianza (2018) was selected for Cannes. Fin de siglo is his first feature.
