Um filme de verão has a wonderful way of communicating with its characters. Open and full of light, it looks to the future through unfailingly curious eyes.

The jury also awarded a Special Mention to A Shape of Things to Come, by Lisa Malloy and J. P. Sniadecki (United States).

A film that needs very little to go a long way on a journey that draws deeply from American popular culture as it explores the idea of radical and dissident ways of life and teases out connections between the land, the individual and society.
