Synopsis

Larger-than-life revolutionary Indianara and her group lead a fight for the survival of transgender people in Brazil. In the shelter she founded, on the streets and at demonstrations, she strives to put her ideals into practice, including in her relationship with her husband, Maurice. Shot between 2016 and 2018 in the run-up to the election of Jair Bolsonaro, Indianara follows her turbulent public and private life as she faces attacks from her own political party. With totalitarianism on the march, she gathers her forces for one last act of resistance.
