Synopsis

Benigno lives his life to the cadence music of Schubert's String Quintet in C major. Each movement accompanies a moment in his day, revealing the passions and emotions of this humble, misunderstood person in the twilight of his life.

David Baute has spent fifteen years using his documentary filmmaking to explore the nooks and crannies where family secrets are hidden away.
