Music Library & SFX–Mentoring Projects Prize in l’Alternativa Professionals

The jury made up of Peter Stephens and Víctor Coronado has decided to award the Music Library & SFX–Mentoring Projects Prize—which goes to the shortlisted project with the best sound and music—to Trini, directed by Marta Romero Coll and produced by Distinto Films.

Although this is a deeply personal story, many people will be able to identify with the different generations and shared emotions, and the music takes us to the heart of the characters' story.
ACCIÓ CURTS de DONES VISUALS Prize

The jury appointed by Dones Visuals, made up of Kathy Sey, Mariola Cortés and Pablo Menéndez, has awarded the Acció Curts de Dones Visuals Prize to the short film Millor la llengua, de Mar Pawlowsky Ferret (Spain).

This tender story portrays healthy sexualities and proves that other forms of masculinities exist.

The jury appointed by Dones Visuals, made up of Kathy Sey, Mariola Cortés and Pablo Menéndez, has awarded the Acció Curts Aluzine Prize, funded by the professional film-lighting hire company Aluzine, to the short film Thank you, sista!, by Sílvia Sopale and Luz Ruciello (Spain).

In the words of Ava: 'We should use light to sculpt rather than to whiten.' This story challenges us to face up to how we see and judge the world through the racist structures that permeate us all.
