Synopsis
Astronauts in the desert of Oman. Or is it Mars? With a cast of Bedouins who were once nomads, ships crossing the desert, two space-mad teenagers and a bunch of newly arrived astronauts, Marte, Omán looks at humans' fascination with the immensity of the universe and raises questions about exploration, colonialism and freedom.
Bio/Filmo
Vanessa del Campo (Madrid, 1981) studied film at EICTV in Cuba, at Bande à Part in Barcelona and at LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. She has worked with ProjectA Teatre Social in Barcelona as a playwright and actor. Her previous short films include Lollies (2018) and Pepitais (2019). She is currently based in Belgium.
