Reserve

Synopsis

The wolf no longer inhabits the land that once formed part of its territory: only through its outlines can we get close to it. Reserve tells the story of the fragile balance left behind when a predator disappears, where the complex coexistence between humans and non-humans creates a distinctly anthropogenic ecosystem.

Bio/Filmo

Gerard Ortín Castellví (Barcelona, 1988) graduated in fine art from the University of Barcelona and holds an MFA from the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam and an MA in Artists' Film and Moving Image from Goldsmiths, University of London. His work has been exhibited at the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, Tabakalera in Donostia, the Stedelijk Museum Bureau in Amsterdam and the Office for Contemporary Art in Oslo.
