Synopsis
Set in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro at the end of the school year, this film is an incisive and vibrant portrait of youth in a society on the threshold. As temperatures in the city soar, four teenagers plan their summer, and amid regular power cuts they reinvent themselves, hoping to overcome their own personal adversities. Structured as a collage made from fragments of their lives, we see how a universe blooms amidst the challenging process of becoming an adult in contemporary Brazil.
