Thanks for sharing the 18th edition of l'Alternativa with us!

This year, we received about 2.000, 46 of which competed in the Official Sections: a panorama of contemporary independent filmmaking that reveals a vibrant community far removed from the mainstream. Our juries awarded prizes and special mentions to seven films and our audience chose their favourite short film.

We presented six Parallel Sections that revealed unknown or little-known films and included a family session, roundtables and a conference for professionals.

The Film Schools section rounded off a packed week of activities and once again we enjoyed the eclectic Hall Screen, with its rich, wide-ranging programme of screenings in a unique setting.

It was a real pleasure to share the screenings, activities and meetings with professionals from all over the world and a large, engaging audience. We're already working hard to ensure next year is just as enriching and rewarding for everyone.
