Synopsis
Madrid, 1935. The Instituto Cajal puts on the first art exhibition by mental health patients in Spain, including photographs by Constantino Casanova in the form of a series of staged portraits.
Bio/Filmo
Laura Jurado has worked as a journalist for over 10 years. After earning a Master's Degree in Production Direction at ESCAC Film School in 2016, she worked as production assistant on Benedikt Erlingsson's team to shoot Woman at War. She coordinated production and art for Paradise Hills and The Hustle, as well as for several BBC and Netflix series. Her short Bauman was a finalist at the 2017 Port Adriano Short Film Festival. In 2019 she specialised in screenwriting at Brighton Film School and Birkbeck, University of London. She is assistant production coordinator at the Atlà ntida Film Fest.
