Synopsis
After her mother suffers a stroke, Julia decides to put her into a retirement home rather than run the risk of losing her job. However, one of the other residents at the home is Nicolás, a shameless grandpa who is actually "El Gaucho", once a dreaded torturer in Franco's dictatorship who abused her mother in the 1970s.
Bio/Filmo
Daniel M. Caneiro is a director, writer and producer. He studied filmmaking at the Centre d’Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya (Barcelona) and at ECAM (Madrid) and trained as a show director at ITES (Barcelona). He has worked for a variety of production companies and festivals based in Spain and USA and has created, developed and filmed advertising campaigns, feature film projects (Onyx, Kings of the Grail, El cerro de los dioses, El año del descubrimiento, Martino, Pochinok, Deviant and Madurar a los 30), TV drama series (Riders, El Iluso) and documentary series (The Spanish Department, Cuero español).
