Synopsis
Men of many different ages gather in a featureless room to drink and sing karaoke songs. We don’t know much about them or even whether it is night or day outside. A few signs serve as clues for us to glean something about their particular circumstances.
Bio/Filmo
Mauro Herce (Barcelona, 1976) studied engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and fine arts at the University of Barcelona. After graduating, he enrolled at the EICTV in Cuba and then at the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière in Paris. He has worked as a director of photography and screenwriter on more than twenty films, including Arrayanos (Eloy Enciso, 2012), Slimane (José Alayon, 2013), Mimosas (Oliver Laxe, 2016), El mar nos mira de lejos (Manuel Muñoz Rivas, 2017) and O que arde (Oliver Laxe, 2019). He directed his debut feature, Dead Slow Ahead, in 2015.
