Synopsis

Lebrun has travelled from Congo to Canton to buy cheap T-shirts for a presidential campaign in his home country. But the goods are delayed, the election is over, and Lebrun is in a fix. Largely improvised and developed in collaboration with director Li Hongqi (Winter Vacation), this film combines tragicomic fiction and existential absurdity to explore the new relationship between China and Africa.
